Bike lanes are coming to the Highway 101 overpass this summer
Caltrans is scheduled to begin work this summer overhauling the 4.6-mile corridor connecting Mill Valley to Tiburon, according to the city’s traffic committee newsletter and Caltrans project documents.
What happens first: Bike lanes will be installed along the full stretch of East Blithedale Ave/Tiburon Blvd from Tower Drive in Mill Valley to the Cove Shopping Center in Tiburon. The project also repaves the road and restores drainage systems to reduce the potential for highway flooding. Construction is estimated to take until summer 2027.
