What's happening: The Mill Valley City Council meets Monday at 5pm for a closed session on three pending lawsuits involving Bayfront Terrace, the affordable housing project planned for 3 Hamilton Drive, previously known as 1 Hamilton Drive.
The closed session agenda lists all three cases under existing litigation: Friends of Hauke Park v. City of Mill Valley I, II and III. At 5:30pm, the Council's public meeting includes a vote to let the City Manager finalize a $2 million loan to EAH Housing, the project's developer, from the city's Affordable Housing Trust Fund. The money would cover early-stage costs like permits and funding applications. The vote is on the consent calendar, where it can pass along with other routine items in a single motion.
