What's happening: The Parks and Recreation Commission meets Wednesday to consider building a permanent fence around the redwood grove at Depot Plaza, according to a staff report from Operations Superintendent Chuy Beltran. Operations staff already installed a temporary fence, the report says, after the city received reports of members of the public entering the grove and damaging the trees.
